- Can I set up recurring maintenance contracts?
- Yes. Set a service job to repeat on the schedule you've agreed - monthly, quarterly, annually - and Tradescraft creates each one automatically, ready to dispatch. This gives you planned services, filter changes and refrigeration checks to roster and complete. Generation pauses when the subscription is inactive.
- Does it keep a service history for each unit?
- Every visit is recorded against the site, with photos, model and serial details and the work notes, so when you go back you can see exactly what was done last time and what was flagged for next time.
- How does it handle refrigerant-handling licences?
- Each tech's refrigerant-handling and trade licences are held with their expiry dates, and you're warned before one runs out. A tech without the required ticket can't be dispatched to a job that needs it once you switch the compliance gate on. The check depends on the required tickets and current records entered; it does not verify every licensing obligation.
- Can I dispatch the closest tech to a breakdown?
- The map shows the latest GPS positions of workers who share their location, alongside job and site locations. Compare nearby crew, check their schedule and qualifications, then choose who to dispatch. A nearby position does not establish availability.
