Tradescraft vs Tradify

The same jobs, quotes and invoices - on one flat plan instead of three tiers, with safety and compliance built in.

Tradify is a solid job-and-invoice app. The difference is what you pay and what's in the box: as at June 2026, Tradify's published plans spread features across three tiers, while Tradescraft is one flat price with safety, compliance and reporting all included.

Where they differ

One plan, not three tiers

As at June 2026, Tradify's published plans put recurring jobs and timesheets on Pro and Plus, and reporting and reusable kits on Plus only. With Tradescraft they're all on by default - there's a single plan.

A lower price per user

Tradescraft is $29 per user with no feature tiers. As at June 2026, Tradify's published plans start at A$48, with the AI, reporting and kit tools on the A$62 Plus tier (ex GST).

Safety and compliance are built in

Tradify has JSA and SWMS templates on its Pro and Plus plans. What it doesn't do, as at June 2026, is track ticket expiry or gate dispatch on it: Tradescraft builds the safety docs on a 5×5 risk matrix, warns before a licence lapses, and blocks a worker being sent without the right ticket - on every plan.

More in the base price

The customer portal, reviews, the operations hub and the full reporting suite are all on the base plan - no upsell. A website ($29/month) is an optional add-on (SMS texting is coming soon), and the website isn't a brochure: a lead from it lands in your enquiry list ready to action and the reviews you approve publish themselves.

Common questions

Is Tradescraft a good alternative to Tradify?
If you want one flat price with safety and compliance built in, yes. Both handle jobs, quotes and invoices well, and both can produce a JSA or SWMS; Tradescraft adds licence-expiry tracking, a 5×5 risk matrix and dispatch gating, plus a built-in customer portal - without juggling three tiers.
Is Tradescraft cheaper than Tradify?
Yes, on the core plan. Tradescraft is $29 per user with safety, compliance and reporting included. As at June 2026, Tradify's published plans start at A$48 per user and rise to A$62 on Plus (ex GST). Both charge separately for a website.
Can I switch from Tradify to Tradescraft?
Yes. Set up your clients, price book and jobs in Tradescraft and run everything from one place, and connect Xero so your books stay in sync.

One job system. $29 a month, per user.
